Time for a "Mother" Story

My mother was a smoker for a good part of her life. I think she smoked Camel Cigarettes with a filter. Anyway, she eventually quit. One Sunday we were sitting in church and a smoker sat down on the pew behind us. First my mother looked at me and turned her nose up. I knew better than to ask what the problem was. She was not good at whispering (neither am I) so asking questions in church was a no-no. After I did not respond to the nose action, she said, “Who is that smoker behind us. It stinks.” I opened my mouth to speak but immediately closed it. When I humped my shoulders, she asked again. When I did not answer, she turned around to looked for herself. But, when she saw who it was (the lady sat behind her for years) her faced turned to pure sugar and nice. “Good morning, so glad we can be in church today. You doing ok?” I just look on in amazement. When mom turned around she said to me, “Still stinks.” My mother was so funny. Have a good day, don't judge and please don’t forget to smile.
